See that you do not refuse Him who speaks (Hebrews 12:25).
In Hebrews 12:18-25a, we find text concerning the power of the Blood of Christ. I believe this is the mind of the Holy Spirit. In this passage, Paul, or the writer of Hebrews, speaks of the Glorious Company of Blood-bought and Blood-washed saints of God purchased by Jesus Christ.
He says, “For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: ‘And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow,’ And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, ‘I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.’) But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. See that you do not refuse Him who speaks” (Hebrews 12:18-25).
The Bible says, “His blood speaks.” His blood calls your name! The Blood of Christ justifies us before God, that is, it makes us righteous! Because of the Blood of Christ, we are now declared righteous! We have redemption through His Blood, that is, we are now the purchased possession of God through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. We are now God’s responsibility. We also have peace with God through Jesus, that is, we are reconciled to Him and enjoy the benefits of the forgiveness of sins. Finally, we have communion with the Father and Son and all the saints throughout the ages! We are Blood-bought and Blood-wrought. His victory has become our victory. Principalities and powers have been disarmed! They have no authority and very limited power. Through His Cross, Jesus has triumphed over them.
This is only a little that the Blood of Christ speaks, but this little is a whole lot!
Keep the faith!
