I am Don Leavell. I would like to share with you a truth about the love of God.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Maybe this is the first time you have ever heard that God loves you. If it is, you can believe it. He loves you and desires for you to be in relationship with Him.

Scriptures teaches us that, “. . . all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, . . .” Romans 3:23 The problem of sin is that it prevents us from truly knowing God. He has provided us with a way to be brought into relationship with Himself and in so doing He dealt with the one thing that separates us, our sin.

Scripture says, “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For, . . . ,“Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”  For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.” Romans 10:8-12

God’s desire is that everyone, especially you, would receive Him through His Son. Jesus died in our place that we all might come into relationship with God the Father. Ask him today to come into your heart as your life. Would you pray with me?

Lord,
I confess that I have sinned. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and that He is your Son whom you raised from the dead. Forgive me of my sins. Come into my heart. Save me today.
