God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 1:9).
The Word of God has become more interesting as I have grown in the LORD. It seems today, the things I took for granted, are not only important, but essential to the abiding presence and understanding of the Lord.
God confirms the testimony of Christ in us; we come short in NO gift. As a result of His confirmation, we will receive the revelation of our Lord, Jesus Christ, whose purpose it is to confirm us to the very end, that we may be blameless in the day of our Lord. God is always faithful to us, and He has called us “into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:9).
Many of us feel it is plagiarism to say the same thing as another brother or sister. However, Paul teaches us that we should all “speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among [us], but that [we] would be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment” (1 Corinthians 1:10). There is only one way this is accomplished, and that is through knowing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
I urge all of you to understand that we are being saved by the power of God through the effectiveness of the Cross of Jesus Christ. The crucified Christ is an offense to many in this world, but to us, who are saved, He is indispensable. Christ is the power of God, He is the Wisdom of God, and causes us to be in right relationship with our Father by the efficacy of His finished work.
Through Christ, we are able to demonstrate the power of His Spirit in such a manner that those who are affected by the message preached will rest in God’s power and strength. I exhort all of you to remember the Christ which I preach to you every week is Himself the Power of God.
