Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! (Zechariah 4:7).
In the verse that precedes the above passage, the Lord gives this word to Zerubbabel, “not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.” He says to Zerubbabel that he will bring down this formidable obstacle by the Spirit of the Lord.
My belief system is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. All that we do successfully is done by the indwelling Spirit of God. When your faith is in something or someone other than the Lord, you are headed for disappointment or disaster. Paul said to the Corinthians, “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified […] And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God” (I Corinthians 2:2,4-5).
Let us look at a few passages that corroborate what I have said thus far. Romans 8:37 says, “…we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” I John 4:4 states, “…He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” Philippians 3:21 says, “…He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” Philippians 4:13 states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Acts 1:8 says, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” These are but a few supporting scriptures of the power of God within you.
If you would dare to believe in Jesus Christ, without doubt your life would take on dimensions never before known nor realized in and for you.
May God bless you all.
