Small Groups Ministries

Fellowship Connections is the name of our Small Groups Ministry at the Fellowship. The goal of the ministry is to provide opportunities for the members to find fellowship, to make meaningful connections to others in this body of believers, and to grow spiritually under the anointed leadership that heads the various groups. Among the types of groups are Bible study groups, discipleship classes, home groups, and special interest groups, but what binds them together is the passion to see the body connected, growing, and functioning to the honor of the Lord Jesus.

Small Groups for WOMEN

Titus 2 includes mandates to the Church that concern women. If you are a woman who wants to learn how to mentor younger women, you will want to be a part of this group. Drawing from Woman to Woman (Life Principles from Titus 2), this class will explore practical application of the Word of God in order to become women of excellence, especially in preparation to mentor younger sisters in the Lord. [Books may be purchased from Mardel or Barnes and Noble.]

“. . .the sharing of your faith. . .[becomes] effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Philemon 6

Can you put into your own words those good things you have in Christ? Can you tell someone what His cross brings to you as a believer? Come and learn how to express the message of Jesus in the most effective way to a lost, hurting, and dying world. As we live and speak the good news of Christ and His cross, we will be more effective in God’s Kingdom purposes.

“A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24

At the very beginning of man’s existence, God established the importance of relationships. God knew that people needed a relationship not only with Him, but with each other. Drawing upon Pastor Don’s sermon series on “Relationships,” bi-weekly lessons will engage and encourage you as you work to build stronger and healthier relationships, with the end result being that the believer will be more fully aware of God’s love, order, and purpose in protecting and strengthening relationships in the family of God.

What’s the difference between the “gifts of the Spirit” and “fruit of the Spirit”? How do you grow in your knowledge of the Lord and His ways? Join us as we look closely at this gift called “salvation” and as we explore what its implications are for your life.
